Thought #2.

A use! Thoughts. Or something like it.

I was staring at the list of categories and that got me thinking. Why the need for labels? For categories? Why the need to belong to one set definition? Is it the comfort? The knowledge that others think one thing of you through stereotypical outlooks? Why must individuality come only by conforming to one outrageous look? Sometimes it’s hard to think of someone as an individual when they try to much. Poser is a word that drifts into thought, and yet, when you don’t try, you’re not BEING YOURSELF.

BEING YOURSELF. How the hell are you suppose to do that? Is that even possible when you have to be yourself in the eyes of several hundred different people each day who all see you differently? You are never the same person you were two minutes ago. You change constantly and BEING YOURSELF is a lot harder than just acting a certain way. I guess it comes down to being happy, right? What makes you happy? BUT! But, when you’re happy, that comes with a lot of guilt. Why should you be happy when others aren’t? Why must people bring down people who are happy? They become suspicious of you, and all of sudden you change again and you aren’t happy. Are you still BEING YOURSELF? Yes, because you can’t change.

Nobody can help be be who they are. Acting is okay, but, in a sense, isn’t acting being who you are? But does that bring us back to acting to be put into a certain “so-called” category? Now we’re back to categories. And stereotypes. And being labeled like it’s a part of BEING YOURSELF.

In the end, I believe this is fully up to you. Whoever you want to be, you should be. Whoever you become, you can change if you’re unsatisfied. So why the need for labels and categories and being only one definition of yourself? You are a whole encyclopedia of yourself with an unending amount of editions and changes. Stop trying to not change yourself – you are always changing! In that way, BE YOURSELF. Just by being.

Stop trying. Just live. Be. Smile. Be strong and happy and just, JUST BE.

And that’s that.
