I’m currently working on a theme design that is just NOT working and I have no idea what to do. I’m just going to let it sit for awhile and then go back to it and see if something clicks in my head. Grrr. Plus, everything is just being really frustrating – our housemate is totally slacking on all responsibilities of finding other people to live here in replace of us and leaving it up to us to find roommates for her. Even though this is supposed to be entirely up to her since she would be the one living with them. The whole thing frustrates me so much and makes me so angry. Agh. I need to calm down.
The sky was full of falling stars and bright lights the other night. I wish I had seen it all but I think they were too far west and it was cloudy out so it wouldn’t have helped. Fireballs are amazing.

Just check out the video in that article. It looks beautiful.
I hope this night goes well. I’m tired, stressed, and not looking forward to Monday morning.

How is it your job to find new roommates for your roommate? How much notice did you give her to your move out date? That doesn’t make sense to me. She has to live with them. Where are you moving to?
She’s known since June that we were leaving – she had six months to find someone to move in. We’ve moving to Tennessee for a few months and then it’s off to Austin, Texas. That’s the plan anyway.
If she has known since June that you were leaving, then she should be on her own. From what Ash said on her blog, she isn’t pulling her weight in housekeeping either. I’d just say Good Luck and So Long! We were going to move to Austin instead of here in July, but my family lives here so we came here instead.
Is your lease up when you are leaving, as in does your landlord know and can’t hold you accountable for any more monthly payments? If so, then just leave because it’s not your problem. If not, then you might have to deal with the roommate some more because you don’t want to end up in some legal bind.
The lease is up in May, but the landlord has known that we’d be leaving in December. He’s fine as long as he gets his money (his words), but I don’t know what the housemate would do if we just tried to leave her to deal with it – I’d be afraid she’d pull something that would make us come back to deal with HER problems.
You shouldn’t have to deal with her problems. I always end up with insane roommates too, so I can relate to some extent. Luckily, college dorms don’t require you to find a new roommate for your old crazy one.
I love the meteorite. Stars in general are just interesting. Too bad it’s too cold to go stargazing.
That fireball is… the effing coolest thing… I have ever seen.
Gracias!
