I’m a Ramblin’ Girl.

Last night I nearly passed out from the pain in my neck. I fell asleep with a heating pad on it and it feels better now but I think I’ll do it again tonight. Apparently it has something to do with how I hold myself at the computer – which means I should get a better chair and not sit on a low stool for the ten hours a day I’m at the computer. It kind of sucks.

I want an iMac. I love my PC but I think I’d rather keep my laptop a PC and get an iMac. Or should I eventually get a Macbook and just get a new monitor for my desktop? I have no idea. And it’s not like I exactly have the money to even look into it, but it’s just a thought.

We brought Akima in to the vet today because the crazy cat had pulled her stitches out. So now she has a cone around her neck and is looking absolutely pathetic as she attempts to back out of it and runs into everything. Poor kitten. If she would just stop jumping onto eight foot bookshelves and let herself HEAL, then this wouldn’t be a problem. That cat is too athletic for her own good.

I think I’m going to take a break for the next few days. I’ve kind of burned myself out I think from all the late nights and struggling to fix design stuff. I’m gonna take a short vacation but I’ll get back to work on Monday. Tuesday I start my online classes (I hope) and I’ll be juggling that and design work in the office for a few months, so Ash and I are just going to take it easy the next few days before things get hectic. It’ll be nice.

I could use a Mimosa.

I wish I could get you a new computer but, umm, I don’t even have anyone interested in my services yet. You’re a better businesswoman than I am.

Macs are great, but harder to upgrade as software becomes available. So, if you get a mac, I would generally recommend a notebook, instead of a desktop.

    Er, HARDware. Not software.

I’ve heard macbooks are nice, but I have no idea what you should do. I’m terrible with computers.

And let me know how online courses go. I’m taking a few this summer, and I’m nervous. I’ve heard they are harder than typical classes. Yikes.

Love the mac – First used one in the early 90’s and have owned 4 and want to buy another one. The mac mini is an easy way to get into one if you have keyboards and monitors already.

Oh it is true that the number of Mac viruses is small. Also there is a good free software package call openoffice available.
