10 Illustrated Web Designs

If you couldn’t tell by my own design here on Snailbird, I love illustrated designs. I have quite a few illustrator/web designers in my favorites, so expect quite a few more of these lists at a later date – I don’t want to swamp you with all of them at once (far too many for that). Here is a list of my 10 favorite illustrated web designs that I’ve come across online.

DasBecca

The personal blog of Becca Lyn. You could call her a typical mommy blogger, but have you seen her designs? She’s anything about typical.

Dawghouse Design Studio

The digital blog, portfolio, and lovely online abode of web and graphic designer Jan Cavan. She’s a great artist and a good friend.

Gisele Jaquenod

Kev Adamson

One of my favorite illustrator/web designers is Kev Adamson – his style is simple yet extremely unique, fun, and full of variety. To top it off: I love his design!

Lady Omega

Lady Omega is the website of Victoria Costa, also known as Omega. While her design is pretty much as opposite of my own as you can get, it’s beautiful and I love her work.

Meagan Fisher

While Owltastic has pretty much graced every design-favorite post out there, I can’t help but add it here as well. Meagan did an amazing job on her newest design – yay for owls!

Brad Colbow

I love this guy’s work! Brad comes up with interesting comics, illustrations, and designs that never fail to keep me entertained. Highly recommended.

N.Design Studio

I think when most designers think of illustration and web design, they think of Nick La, the creative force behind N.Design Studio and the ever-popular and tweeted Web Designer Wall. It’s no wonder why he’s in this list.

ChiGarden

ChiGarden is the home of Teresa Watts, a web and graphic designer (with illustration skills to boot) based in Australia. ChiGarden is her well-designed personal blog.

Don’t forget to check out their portfolios, illustrations, and blogs as well – there’s always something to find on an illustrated web design. Enjoy!

Nice collection! I’m thinking of creating an illustrated blog design myself and this is really good inspiration… do you know more…? or maybe some advices on making that specific kind of website theming…?

Zevik, to find more illustrated blog designs, I suggest you check out http://cssillustrated.com There are some excellent designs there similar to these. I’m not sure what you mean by specific website theming. From what I can tell, like my design, a lot of these are hand drawn and built around a CMS. Could you explain a little more?
