Contest Giveaway: Custom Postcards!

Hurray A Contest!

UPrinting Postcard Giveaway

Snailbird is proud to host its second contest! This time the contest is being sponsored by our lovely friends over at UPrinting. They will be giving 1 lucky winner 100 (ONE HUNDRED!) custom-made postcards for free! How awesome is that? Here’s what you need to do to enter the giveaway:

The Rules

01. Comment on this post, making sure that I have both your name and email address (we won’t share your email, no worries), and tell me what you would use these 100 custom postcards for. Be creative! Christmas/New Year/Holiday/Birthday cards? Letters to long lost relatives? Paper your wall with them? Let us know!

The Goods

The winner will receive 100 custom postcards from UPrinting.com. The postcards are 4″ by 6″ (standard postcard size), full color both sides, and printed on 14pt Cardstock Gloss. They can be used as notecards, invitations, thank you cards, or whatever you could possibly think of.

Postcards from UPrinting

On January 1, 2010, I will choose a winner using the ever-useful Random.org generator. Only those with answers to the above question will be put in the drawing so don’t forget that part! One comment is allowed per person and don’t forget to tell your friends to join. Who wouldn’t love to get 100 custom-made postcards? It’s the perfect gift for a new year.

Don’t forget to tweet about the giveaway to your friends!

Come back on January 1, 2010 to find out who the winner is!

As tempting as the wall-papering idea is, I have to say I’d definitely use them as thank yous for my upcoming wedding! We are trying to save paper as much as we can, so using postcards instead of the standard cards and envelopes would be awesome. And 100 is the perfect number 😀

Oh, and thanks for posting this, because I hadn’t heard of UPrinting before (I have been sucking all the free stuff I can get from VistaPrint) but am always looking for new printing options!

I would use them to promote my book blogging website! Gussy them up all flashy and colorful and include them in giveaways etc… And that would be a huge incentive to actually start some giveaways! LOL

  3. My son’s 2nd birthday is in March and I’d LOVE to use these and invites! And postcard postage is less expensive than regular card postage so we’d be saving money all over the place! Plus I LOVE UPrinting. I have business cards from them and they are fabulous!

I just love the papering my wall with the post cards but I have an idea for them.
My Grandma lives in Guam and I haven’t really met her, let alone talk to her. My mom tells me that sometimes she gets lonely because her family Guam don’t tend to visit her.
So recently, I decided to just write letters to her. Tell her how life in the states is. And just have a conversation with her. I think it’d be better with postcards, she’d get a picture too!
If I win this contest or not, this is something I plan to do.
    Thanks for the opportunity!

Postcards would be the best thing ever for me to show off my mad photography skillz. I’m getting a macro lense for Christmas. I know you’re just *dying* to see what I do with it. 😀

I think that winning this would be such a great thing for me! I would use the postcards to announce the birth of my new baby granndson for the family to see all over the country! To all my blogging family & friends and the birth family & friends 🙂 I would LOVE to be able to show off the grandschildren!! And what I can do with all my editing classes!! I would love to be able to see what U-Printing does with the postcards as opposed to other printing sites!

Ooohh… I would use these for advertising to our bridal market!

My lil’ sis just moved to Chicago for grad school and is a bit homesick and not used to the big city. I’ve always wanted to send her a post card a day… or close to it. Something to cheer her up.

Or use the postcards for a project around Burlington… not sure what it would be yet….
