I’m Loved!

I Love Your Blog Aw, so I got tagged for this meme by Amanda who I recently made friends with through NaBloPoMo. She apparently likes my blog so much she thought I deserved this little badge-thingy. I feel special.

Here are the rules as I see them: Answer the following questions with one word only (I almost forgot that part), then tag five other blogs who you feel are awesome and deserve some form of recognition. Then they post the badge, answer the questions too, and tag the blogs they think are awesome. Easy. So here we go.

02. Leigh Jaszlics
03. Meg Smitherman

05. Jennifer of Tropical Fruit

That was actually kind of hard narrowing it down, but I think I did a good job. If I tagged you, don’t forget to post the “I Love Your Blog” badge in your blog. You deserve it – why? Because I love Your Blog. That’s right.

Ash just wandered out here with no pants on. I gotta go.

New Theme – Floral Prints.

Okay, this isn’t the one I was working on earlier – that one I kind of gave up on for now. But there are some who really like the openess of my current theme so I tried to replicate it for this new theme. Oh well. Remember: No commercial use. Please leave the credits intact (you can move it, but I want to be able to find my link back here fairly easily). That’s really all. If you like these, let me know, and I’ll start making more. Want a personalized one? Commission me!

Floral Prints

A light three column design with an elegant topper with floral prints and cute little butterfly subjects. It’s an airy and open theme with few limitations.

If you have any problems with any of the designs, or need to ask some other question, feel free to contact me through comment here or email. I’ll try and help out in any way I can. I might make a page purely for my themes, but I won’t do that until I make enough of them to really deserve a full page. If you download or use any of these, let me know! I’d like to see my work in action. Any suggestions? I’d like to hear them!

I’m on a roll!

Tag Teamed.

So Jennifer tagged me to do this, so I figured why not. It’s a good way for you to get to know where I’m from. I could do Ashland, where I currently reside, but that’s boring as hell, so you get to know my hometown of Delavan, Wisconsin.

State the name your hometown or the town that you live in and then Post 10 facts or observations about the town you call home. Then tag 4 people.

Delavan, Wisconsin

01. It’s the home of the Wisconsin School for the Deaf.
02. It’s where the Andes Candies factory is.
03. The P.T. Barnum Circus was organized here in 1871.
04. “Between 1847-1894, Delavan was home to 26 different circus companies. The Mabie Brothers U.S. Olympic Circus, then the largest in America, arrived here in 1847, to become the first circus to quarter in the territory of Wisconsin. Its famous rogue elephant, “Romeo”, stood 19 ½ feet high, weighed 10,500 pounds and is reproduced on this monument.” – Wikipedia
05. There are more than 250 members of the old Circus colony are buried in Spring Grove and St. Andrew’s cemeteries.
06. The International Clown Hall of Fame opened its doors here in 1987. (And people wonder why I am absolutely terrified of clowns.)
07. Delavan Lake is the final resting place of the bones of one of P.T. Barnum’s elephants – the elephant died in the cold of winter so they dragged it out onto the ice. When the ice melted, the remains of the elephant sank to the bottom.
08. The town has a large amount of old Victorian houses, many of which are in the National registery of Historic Places.
09. John Mahoney (dad from Frasier) has a house here (his favorite restaurant is Elizabeth’s Cafe).
10. Gary Burghoff (Radar from M*A*S*H) was raised here – he went to my high school.

There you have it. My home town. Interesting, yes, but also one of the reasons I stay away from circuses. They creep me out. Tagging: Ash, Leigh, Meg, and Cristina. Do It!

I just waved good-bye to Ash and Spunky. They’re off to the bank to run some errands, and the two of them in the car were just adorable. You know what, I am so in love with my girlfriend. Ash is seriously the most wonderful person I have ever met. I am so lucky that I get to spend my life with her. She’s too good to me. I love her.

/end mushy stuff. I’m gonna go clean up a little.

a bit of natural fluff.

So I’ve been busy doing web stuff that last couple of days, and I managed to get a new design up at A.Net and a new one up at Studio Brushes. At Studio Brushes there are also three new Photoshop 7 brushes up for download, my favorite being this set:

Natural Wings

Download brushes here.

All my brushes are in zipfiles so they have to extracted before they can be used.

I’ll be working on my side project, the James Gurney fanlisting tonight, if I’m not totally lost to WoW. Which there are good chances that might happen.

For the Horde!
