I totally lied. I am not camping, nor did I ever leave town for that matter. We got about twenty minutes into the drive and changed our minds. We’re going camping in two weeks closer to home, but for now, I’m here. Hi. Expect a large amount of blog posts soon as I catch up on my “To-Blog” list.

Preview and Possible Contest News

While working on a new WP theme for a client, I made a mock-up of a very fun and colorful theme. After going through it, we decided to scrap it and start with something else. However, I didn’t just want to throw the theme away considering someone else might like it, so I’m going to be adding it to my Design Coyote Premade Shop.

Here’s a preview:

Let me know if you’re interested. I’ll be putting it up soon, and if I get enough interest, I might run a small contest for someone to win this theme for free! That’s right – FREE. More information will be blogged about this later.

Also, anyone else feeling absolutely lost with Twitter down today? What do I do with my life when I can’t tweet about it?

Design Coyote!

Ladies and Gentlemen (and those in between sorts and those that are neither), I finally present to you, after many hours of labor and birth pains with no epidural (I’m a trooper), my brand new, precious baby.

It is the Grand Opening of my new design site Design Coyote. Click on the banner to see the site, peruse the Premades Shop, or check out the freebies (which have been moved there permanently). You can fill out the request quote form to find out how much a custom design would be, and in my own navigation there is now a Hire Me? link that brings you to the site. I’ll still be making freebie themes and cross-posting them here, but they’ll be over there from now.

Please check it out and tell me what you think and if anything doesn’t work for you. I’d appreciate it. It seems to work on my end, but apparently the shop is being fickle. I’ll try and figure out what that’s about.

I finally got around to creating a theme for both Blogger (or Blogspot) and WordPress. I thought it was a good design to jumpstart my introduction to Blogger Themes while keeping up with my WordPress themes. Please keep the credits intact if you download and use it. Thank you!

Sheep in a Field

Three-column design , featuring a few sheep, some birds, and a little springtime to cheer you up from the Winter blues. You don’t have to be part of the flock to use this theme.

I didn’t think I’d do it, but I did, so here’s another theme for the day (I did manage to get three done in one day – go me!). This one is one that Ash really likes, so I’m extra proud of it. A light three column design with an elegant topper with floral prints and cute little butterfly subjects. It’s an airy and open theme with few limitations.

The Debut of Snailbird Themes.

I guess you could say this is my way of celebrating Halloween. We did get some trick or treaters, my favorite being the kid dressed up as a box of Puffs Kleenex. It was pretty elaborate, though I have no idea what would possess a kid to dress up as tissues. It had to be his mother’s idea. He probably just wanted to be a box, she thought it was boring. Thus Puffs Kleenex.

Anyway, free WordPress themes! I finished my first three and they’re up for personal use only, guys, nothing more. No commercial use. Maybe not now though. Now, I’m tired, and tomorrow is going to be a big day. We’re going to Duluth (the closest city with a Cold Stone Creamery) for some shopping, hiking, and fun times. It’s been a hectic week, and this weekend is going to be one of ease and relaxation. Good luck to that.
