Woke up at 6am, drove Ash to work, and then came home and tried to sleep for an hour only this proved to be more difficult than it sounds. Why? Because once I started coughing I couldn’t stop. The half-sputter I’ve had this past week has turned into a full-blown hacking up a lung and pieces of heart. So I went to the doctor and found out I have yet another sinus infection and that I should stay inside as much as possible because my cold-induced asthma is making the whole thing worse. Which means that I have an official excuse to not go to my final scenario tonight. My professor says he understands and he’s going to work with the other heads about what I can do to make it up. Thank goodness everyone in the Outdoor Ed department all know my insane medical history.
I’ve got two prescriptions to pick up now, but I think I’m just going to pass out for a bit before I attempt to clean the bedroom and the rest of the house. I’m exhausted. This cough has sucked all my energy away and my arms, I swear to you, weigh at least a ton each. The effort I am making to lift my fingers to type this is comparable to the effort I make to keep Merlin off the counter -and let me tell you, THAT’S A LOT. You can’t take your eyes off that cat or you’ll find him with his head in a pot of spaghetti on the stove. Still heating. NOT KIDDING.
Someday I’ll post a picture of the charred remains of what was once a very cute, though highly destructive kitten.
And then I’ll get hate mail.
I’m going to bed.
