Webcomic Wednesday on Thursday?

Yesterday was a hard day for me, so today you’ll get your Webcomic Wednesday a day late. And instead of some comics, I’m giving you a sneak peak of what I’ve been diligently working on for the past few days.

The Family Menagerie is slowly but surely coming back to life. This one will be up soon and I’ve already got another one inked and ready to be colored. Exciting, yes? I love webcomics and I’m glad to finally be working on my own again. Keep your eyes peeled for more TFM and Webcomic Wednesday!

It’s Webcomic Wednesday!

I love webcomics. I love them so much, I make them. I’ve been a fan and follower of several webcomics for the past many years, and I’ve been clipping comics out of newspapers even longer than that (pretty sure I still have quite a few clippings from when I was little girl). There’s just nothing quite so relaxing as sitting down in your favorite reading chair and spending hours going through the funnies. Nowadays, the Sunday comics are online, and they’re everyday. Here are a few of my favorites at the moment.

Roza
Roza: A Girl and her Curse, Kelly Hamilton

TJ and Amal
The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal, E.K. Weaver

Enjoy Webcomic Wednesday! If you have any that you think I should include for next week, let me know. I always love finding new reads.

Art Post: Don’t Stop Believing

I’ve still been working on the comic even though I haven’t been posting it online. Yesterday I started my first sort-of color test on an illustration I did before beginning the comic, and today I finished it. I actually really like how it turned out so I figured I’d post it to give you a preview of what the comics will look like when finished.

Musical

Ash wants to play the drums, and I’m a somewhat horrible guitar player (the guitar is based on my own, so it actually turned out better than the drum set did). Hopefully I’ll be able to get a few more illustrations churned out soon. It definitely makes me feel like an artist again. So what do you think?
